PwC's Corporate Finance

PwC’s Corporate Finance specialists provide independent financial advisory services to companies, owners, institutional investors, private-equity funds and public institutions in connection with business acquisitions and sales, mergers, funding and debt restructuring.

Our M&A services include all financial, process-related and strategic aspects of a business acquisition or sale. We establish long-term relations with our clients and assist them throughout the transaction – from preparation to final negotiations.

Leading market position

With approximately 50 employees, PwC Corporate Finance is one of the largest M&A advisory services providers in Denmark, and we are known to be one of the most stable and experienced departments of its kind. We advise on 20-25 announced transactions a year, which makes us one of the leading M&A advisers in Denmark in terms of number of transactions.

PwC Corporate Finance also holds a leading market position within M&A advisory services internationally. During the last ten years, we have on average served as financial advisers on more than 400 transactions worldwide each year (+200 in Europe), and we continuously range among the most active M&A advisers in the world. In 2023, PwC Corporate Finance topped the list of leading M&A advisers in Denmark, Europe and globally in terms of number of announced transactions, according to the analyst firm Bloomberg.

A strong international Corporate Finance network

We operate locally, but are rooted in the large international PwC network that consists of +2,500 experienced M&A advisers who cover all industries globally. This ensures that we combine local knowledge and presence with international reach and sector specialists from all parts of the world. Thus, approximately 40% of the M&A transactions on which we advise are cross-border transactions.
